Day Habilitation

Day Treatment provides training in daily living skills and is offered at the main center located at 431 Fulton Street on the first and second floors.

Day treatment currently provides over 110 different training programs, ranging from home making skills to accessing public transportation.

All individuals admitted to Russell Nesbitt Services are eligible to participate in day treatment.

Current day treatment participants have a broad range of disabilities ranging from mild to severe and profound disabilities.

Activities are focused on pre-vocation and daily living skills, supporting the agency's goal of community integration.

Each program is individualized to the consumer’s hopes, dreams, needs and potential.

Community outings are a significant component of the program and facilitate social awareness and community integration. These outings are scheduled for 1 to 2 hours per day.

Transportation is provided by the agency for day treatment consumers in need.

Day treatment is provided up to 6 hours a day, five days a week.
